Are Motorcycle Accidents Treated Different Than Car Accidents?
10 August
Due to bias against motorcyclists, insurance companies treat motorcycle accidents differently than car accidents. An insurance adjuster might view a motorcyclist as reckless and attempt to reduce their claim. Injuries sustained by a motorcyclist are more severe than by a driver as they are not protected by a seatbelt or an airbag. And unlike a car accident, after a motorcycle crash, repairs are usually not possible.
